(7) Quarter

Short blog today – mostly because I’m tired.

Today was good and bad. Bad because I was fighting cravings almost all day, and eventually broke. I had chocolate (70% cacao) and a small scoop of mango sorbet.

The good part is that I didn’t eat all of the food, ever. I was tempted, especially because I had to go to the doctor today for a physical and I was stressed and she was rude, initially. My mom made the appointment for me and drove me there, so all of it together just seemed like a series of triggers.

I got tested for TB, which is basically an injection. So having had a shot and going to a doctor’s office – with your mother, what does that remind you of? Childhood. What do children get for “good behavior?” Treats.

I wanted a treat.

So it snowballed. However, even after the non paleo treats (although really, even both treats are still together than a donut, or even bread) I did some excersize at home. Not a lot, but enough to make me feel good about it. My food was pretty good today otherwise.

I upped my green game today with a handful of spinach with my morning smoothie, a handful with my lunch salad and two more handfuls sauteed with dinner.

Tomorrow I have an appointment with my trainer at the gym which is good because I am so eager to get werked.

Alright, it’s late, I’m calling this a blog and gonna enjoy some Criminal Minds marathon. ❤
